Our Impact (2025-2026)
- Preparing for America’s 250th – On July 4 2026, the United States will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a milestone that invites us to reflect on our past and shape a brighter future . Our cleanup campaigns in Hudson, Bergen and Essex counties will ensure that roadsides, shorelines and parks are pristine when visitors come to celebrate.
- Mobilizing local communities – We will engage more than 300 paid participants—youth, veterans and under‑employed residents—to remove tons of litter and beautify public spaces ahead of the semiquincentennial. Participants gain green‑job experience and community pride.
- Partnering for high‑profile events – Working with FIFA 2026 host city committees, NJDOT, America250 commissions and corporate sponsors, we will showcase New Jersey as a clean, world‑class destination during both the World Cup and the 250th anniversary festivities. The White House’s Salute to America 250 Task Force encourages non‑profit and private‑sector collaboration to make the celebrations inclusive and far‑reaching .
- Welcoming private donors – Private donors will play a pivotal role in scaling our impact. Contributions will fund stipends, equipment and expansion into additional counties, allowing us to sustain cleanups and workforce development throughout the commemorative year.
- Measuring progress – We will track miles cleaned, waste diverted, and economic benefits created, publishing the data so supporters can see the tangible results of their investment.
