ABOUT US
Eco Clean Guardians is a New Jersey-based nonprofit that mobilizes residents to clean up roadside and
shoreline litter in Hudson, Bergen and Essex counties. We empower local youth, veterans, and under-employed
individuals with paid opportunities and green job training to restore public spaces.
We currently serve communities across Hudson, Bergen and Essex Counties, NJ-with plans to expand across the
Garden State and beyond.
Participants receive a living stipend and are provided safety gear, cleanup tools, and training, including
OSHA-10 certification.
JOINING THE CLEANUP
You can sign up for a cleanup shift on our calendar for either roadside or shoreline efforts. There are no volunteers; all participants are paid.
Just wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. We provide all cleanup supplies, gloves, and safety
equipment.
Yes. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Participants under 18 require parental consent.

We welcome public-private partnerships. Contact us to sponsor cleanups, co-host events, or provide in-kind

Yes. Eco Clean Guardians is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that is currently active and IRS-approved. Donations to our organization are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Funds go toward stipends for workers, cleanup supplies, outreach programs, and scaling our efforts
statewide.
MISCELLANEOUS
Yes, we provide signed documentation for students or individuals needing verified service hours.
