About Us

Eco Clean Guardians is a Weehawken environmental nonprofit that leads environmental cleanup based in NJ, transforming littered roadsides and shorelines into cleaner, safer, and greener public spaces. We offer paid green Projects in New Jersey and host community cleanup events for residents who need them most.

We took initiatives for litter cleanup in Hudson County, Bergen County, and Essex County. Our model is built to scale. We blend community cleanup with workforce development, paying stipends to youth, veterans, and under-employed neighbors who remove trash, log waste data, and deliver pop-up “Trash Talks” that spark zero-waste habits.

Our Mission

At Eco Clean Guardians, our mission goes beyond simply picking up litter. We are dedicated to restoring the beauty of our roadsides, waterways, and public spaces while creating meaningful opportunities for youth, veterans, underemployed individuals, and offering them cleanup Projects in NJ.

Through our cleanup initiatives, we provide stipends and foster a sense of pride, responsibility, and community involvement.

Project Spotlight

Date: June 15, 2025

Riverfront Park Cleanup – Anywhere, USA

Paid Participants Involved : 11 (including 6 local veterans and 5 youth participants)

Litter Collected : 320+ pounds of debris, including plastics, glass bottles, and hazardous waste.

Project Highlights:

Cleared litter along a 1-mile stretch of the riverfront walking trail.
Collected and safely disposed of hazardous waste, improving water quality and safety.
Stipends provided to youth and veterans for their hard work and dedication.
Partnered with local businesses to donate gloves, trash bags, and refreshments for Paid Partners.
